Reinforced Soil Walls Project

We are currently executing in collaboration with Maccaferri Italia and Maccaferri Hellas for the design, precast and supervision of the construction of reinforced earth walls in Cyprus. We are the sole precaster company for this technology in the island. The project scope is without doubt the largest application of RSW in Cyprus covering a total of 24.000m2 wall facing in new and existing road networks construction and development.

Bespoke Projects

Construction of Water Dam Boundary Wall

The construction was based on precast L-shaped modules utilised as terraces laid upon each other leading to the crest of the dam wall.

Construction of the Nicosia Municipal Amphitheatre

The project’s aim was the quick renovation of the amphitheatre. The contractor’s choice was precast modules and PYS Ipsonas provided those in high quality standards and within the timeframe.

Hadera Desalination Plant Israel

Manufacture of sub-sea concrete pipeline bases for the protection of three HDPE pipes of DN1800, 1.5km offshore of Israel. The client’s requirement was for unreinforced 11t precast concrete structures which posed a manufacturing challenge.

Fence Wall Systems

PYS IPSONAS wall systems offer the architect the freedom to design made to measure patterns to suit the client’s requirements.

One of the company’s main fence wall systems was the construction of the State’s of Qatar Embassy in Nicosia.

Offshore solutions

PYS IPSONAS with collaboration with international Oil & Gas Development companies, offers maritime solutions for subsea pipeline protection and anchoring.

Laying of intake pipes from sea into the desalination facility.

Mer-Terre Installation of three HDPE pipes in 1.8 m dia. under seabed in Hadera at 1500 m from the beach. In addition, laying of GRP pipes in the same dia. from the beach to the plant. The work included construction of concrete saddles and intake heads, submarine works – connecting and assembling, at a depth of 18 meters. Assembling and adapting the pipeline to different heights.
